This is a high-quality EPDM tape, part of our James Hardie range. Thie tape is perfect for protecting your wooden battens from the elements and helps to achieve clean joints. Use our EPDM tape to cover the vertical joints between planks as well as the space between planks and trims, windows and doors.

The gasket replaces the mastic seals in areas where the James Hardie cladding planks touch. The EPDM gasket also provides extra weather protection to the batterms to avoid rotting prematurely.

Installing the Hardie^® Plank EPDM tape

EPDM tape is installed by stapling to the top of the batten, then allowing the gasket roll to drop. Agyer that any slack needs to be taken out and staples placed at regulat intervals down to its length. Finally, the tape needs to be trimmed to size.
