Mitcham Building Supplies Refunds Policy…
Refunds and Cancellations
Mitcham Building Supplies will offer an exchange or refund for goods that are returned within 14 days of purchase, provided the items are unused and remain unopened.
Please contact our branch quoting your order number, which can be found on your invoice. A member of our team will then advise you on the next steps.
The following conditions apply to all returned goods:
- A valid original receipt must be presented.
- All approved returns will incur a 25% restocking fee (the refund amount will be the invoice price of the goods minus 25%).
- Bespoke items or specially ordered products cannot be returned and are not eligible for refunds or credit notes.
- If a customer asks Mitcham Builders Merchants to collect goods for exchange or refund, a collection charge will apply. Items must be packaged in the same way they were originally supplied and positioned within crane reach for kerbside collection. The collection charge is £50 plus VAT.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 4–5 working days.

Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, Mitcham Building Supplies must receive notice at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery time.
Cancellations can be made by:
Email: online@mbskent.com
Phone: 01227 366633
If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of delivery, the customer will be charged a failed delivery fee of £50 plus VAT, along with the 25% restocking charge (the invoice price of the goods less 25%).
Shortages and Damaged Goods
Mitcham Building Supplies aims to supply goods as close as possible to the quantities ordered. However, due to standard packaging sizes and measurement tolerances, there may occasionally be shortages or damages of up to 10%.
Variations within this 10% tolerance do not entitle the customer to reject the goods.
Any shortages or damage exceeding this tolerance must be reported within 48 hours of delivery so the issue can be investigated.
