Bond It Bitumen Primer 2.5 Litre
Size: 2.5 litre
High quality, low viscosity solvent-borne, BITU-BOND Bituminous black paint Primer. It is weather proof and provides long lasting protection, that when dry it forms an odourless and taint-free bitumen film. Keep the water out!
Bond-It Bitumen Paint Primer can be used for the protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, concrete, roofing felt, fibre/cement, corrugated iron, asphalt and wood against water. Reduces corrosion and decay. It is often used on rough, porous or friable surfaces when using flashing tape to ensure a good seal.

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and dust-free. Remove any loose particles and any rust with a wire brush & soft broom. If there is any rust left it should be treated with a rust inhibitor primer. The surfaces to be treated should be completely dry.
The Bitumen paint is ready for use and does not require thinning. Apply at least two coats. It is possible to apply the paint using either a brush or spray gun. Allow each coat to dry (approximately 6 hours) before applying the next coat.

Note:
Bitumen Primer will bleed through any paints subsequently applied over them. Apply a primer recommended by the paint manufacturer before overpainting.
