Treated Timber Battens are pressure treated for extended lifespan and protection against insect and fungal attack, and can be used for any fencing or garden project.
Also known as Roofing Lath, they can also be used to provide the initial structure to roofing and/or an extensions, and also serves as the fixing point for roofing materials such as shingles or tiles.
Strong and finely finished, with extra treatment applied to withstand outdoor conditions and resist against decay, rot and insect attacks. This protection is approved for a long service life, ensuring maximum protection and long lasting properties.
Treated timber is suitable to be used externally and is suitable for wet areas or areas where the timber will be coming into contact with the ground. Examples of treated timber uses are outdoor decking, shed bases, posts, sleepers.
High pressure preservative treated to BS-.8417-.2003 (UC2) which carries a 60 year service life against insect attack and wood rotting fungi.
